Welcome to 80s90s.club.

80s90s.club is a specialist vehicle marketplace dedicated to cars from the 1980s and 1990s. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of 80s90s.club, including our website, accounts, vehicle listings, search tools, messaging features and other services we may provide.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the site.

By accessing 80s90s.club, creating an account, submitting a listing, contacting a seller or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. What 80s90s.club Is

80s90s.club provides an online marketplace where private sellers, dealers and other eligible users can advertise vehicles and where prospective buyers can discover and contact those sellers.

80s90s.club does not sell the vehicles advertised on the site.

Unless we expressly state otherwise for a specific service:

  • we are not the owner or seller of any listed vehicle;
  • we are not the buyer of any listed vehicle;
  • we do not act as the buyer's or seller's agent;
  • we do not negotiate the vehicle sale on behalf of either party;
  • we are not a party to the purchase agreement;
  • we do not receive the vehicle purchase price;
  • we do not hold buyer or seller funds;
  • we do not hold deposits;
  • we do not provide an escrow service;
  • and we do not take ownership or possession of vehicles.

Any vehicle sale is made directly between the buyer and the seller.

The buyer and seller are responsible for agreeing between themselves on the final price, payment method, inspection, collection or delivery, documentation, title or ownership transfer, registration, taxes, duties and any other conditions of the transaction.

2. The 80s90s.club Era

80s90s.club exists specifically for vehicles from the 1980s and 1990s.

Vehicles submitted to the marketplace must comply with the eligibility rules shown when a listing is created.

We may reject or remove a vehicle that falls outside the purpose of the marketplace.

For unusual vehicles where the year may not be straightforward — including prototypes, continuation models, race cars, heavily modified vehicles or vehicles whose model year differs from their production or registration year — we may determine whether the vehicle is appropriate for 80s90s.club.

Our goal is simple:

The 80s and 90s. Nothing else.

3. Who May Use the Marketplace

You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age required to enter into contracts in your country, to create listings, offer a vehicle for sale or enter into a vehicle transaction through contacts made on 80s90s.club.

If you are using 80s90s.club on behalf of a company, dealership or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act on its behalf.

You are responsible for making sure your use of 80s90s.club complies with the laws that apply to you.

4. Your Account

Some features may require an account.

You must provide accurate and current information when creating and using your account.

You are responsible for:

  • keeping your login details secure;
  • activity carried out through your account;
  • keeping your contact information up to date; and
  • notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You may not impersonate another person or business, create an account using false information or use another person's account without permission.

We may restrict, suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or create a risk to users or the marketplace.

SELLING ON 80s90s.club

5. You Must Have the Right to Advertise the Vehicle

By submitting a vehicle listing, you confirm that:

  • you own the vehicle or have the owner's permission and legal authority to advertise it;
  • the vehicle is not knowingly being advertised fraudulently;
  • the information you provide is substantially accurate;
  • you have the right to use the photographs and other content in your listing;
  • and selling or advertising the vehicle does not violate applicable law or another person's rights.

Dealers, brokers and representatives must accurately identify their relationship to the vehicle where required.

You must not present yourself as a private seller if you are legally operating as a commercial vehicle seller and applicable law requires you to identify yourself as such.

6. Listings Must Be Accurate

A listing should describe the actual vehicle being offered for sale.

Sellers are responsible for the contents of their listings.

Information such as the following should be accurate to the best of the seller's knowledge:

  • make and model;
  • production or registration year;
  • chassis or generation;
  • mileage;
  • engine and transmission;
  • vehicle location;
  • condition;
  • ownership status;
  • asking price;
  • modifications;
  • accident or damage history where known and relevant;
  • and other material information presented to buyers.

If important information changes while the listing is live, the seller should update the listing promptly.

7. Photographs

Photographs used to advertise a vehicle should genuinely represent the vehicle being offered for sale unless clearly identified otherwise.

You may not use photographs in a way that intentionally creates a false impression about the vehicle's identity, specification or condition.

Reference photographs, manufacturer photographs or historical photographs may only be used when their purpose is made clear and they are not presented as photographs of the vehicle currently being sold.

You must have permission or another lawful basis to use all photographs you upload.

8. What Listings May Say

Sellers may include relevant information that helps a buyer understand the vehicle, including:

  • specifications;
  • equipment;
  • options;
  • service history;
  • ownership history;
  • restoration work;
  • modifications;
  • faults or known defects;
  • provenance;
  • documentation;
  • asking price;
  • reasonable sale terms;
  • and other information relevant to the vehicle.

Sellers may describe their vehicle enthusiastically, but factual claims must not intentionally mislead potential buyers.

9. What Listings May Not Say or Contain

Listings must not contain:

  • information the seller knows to be materially false;
  • deliberately incorrect mileage;
  • false ownership or provenance claims;
  • fake service history;
  • misleading vehicle specifications;
  • an intentionally false vehicle location;
  • a fake price used only to attract clicks or enquiries;
  • photographs of a different vehicle presented as the vehicle for sale;
  • false claims that 80s90s.club has inspected, approved, certified or guaranteed the vehicle;
  • false claims that 80s90s.club guarantees the seller or buyer;
  • false claims that payment will be protected or held by 80s90s.club;
  • unlawful, threatening, hateful or abusive material;
  • malicious software or harmful links;
  • unrelated advertising or spam;
  • attempts to manipulate search results;
  • duplicate listings created primarily to gain additional visibility;
  • stolen content;
  • or anything that would make the listing unlawful.

A seller must never tell a buyer that 80s90s.club is holding the buyer's money, deposit or purchase price, because we do not provide that service.

10. Asking Prices

The seller is responsible for setting the asking price.

80s90s.club does not guarantee that an advertised price represents market value.

Any valuation, price estimate, comparable vehicle information or market data displayed by 80s90s.club is informational only unless specifically stated otherwise.

The final price is agreed directly between buyer and seller.

BUYING THROUGH 80s90s.club

11. Buyers Must Perform Their Own Checks

Buying an older or collector vehicle can involve additional risks.

A listing is an advertisement supplied primarily by the seller. It is not an independent vehicle inspection by 80s90s.club.

Before purchasing a vehicle, buyers should make whatever checks they consider appropriate.

These may include verifying:

  • the seller's identity;
  • ownership documentation;
  • VIN or chassis number;
  • registration documents;
  • mileage;
  • service history;
  • accident history;
  • import or export documentation;
  • finance or liens where applicable;
  • originality;
  • modifications;
  • mechanical condition;
  • body and structural condition;
  • and the legal requirements for purchasing, transporting, importing or registering the vehicle.

Where appropriate, buyers should consider arranging an independent inspection before completing a purchase.

The decision to purchase a vehicle belongs to the buyer.

12. We Do Not Guarantee Vehicles or Users

We may review listings, remove suspicious content, investigate reports or introduce verification features.

However, unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not independently guarantee:

  • that a seller owns a vehicle;
  • that a buyer has sufficient funds;
  • that a person's identity is genuine;
  • that listing information is complete;
  • that mileage is correct;
  • that photographs show every defect;
  • that a vehicle is mechanically sound;
  • that a vehicle is roadworthy;
  • that a vehicle has a clean legal or financial history;
  • that documentation is genuine;
  • or that either party will complete a transaction.

The presence of a listing on 80s90s.club should not be interpreted as an endorsement or guarantee by us.

PAYMENTS AND VEHICLE SALES

13. The Sale Is Between Buyer and Seller

80s90s.club helps buyers discover sellers.

We are not part of the vehicle purchase contract.

Any purchase agreement is entered into directly between the buyer and seller.

The parties themselves must agree on matters including:

  • purchase price;
  • deposit, if any;
  • payment method;
  • inspection;
  • collection;
  • shipping;
  • insurance;
  • ownership transfer;
  • documentation;
  • taxes;
  • customs;
  • import or export;
  • registration;
  • warranties, if any;
  • and any other sale conditions.

80s90s.club is not responsible for enforcing an agreement between a buyer and seller.

14. 80s90s.club Does Not Hold Your Money

This is particularly important.

80s90s.club does not hold, safeguard or transfer the money used to purchase a vehicle.

We are not:

  • a bank;
  • a payment institution;
  • an escrow company;
  • a vehicle dealer acting in the transaction;
  • or a custodian of buyer or seller funds.

Never send a vehicle purchase payment because somebody claims that 80s90s.club is holding or guaranteeing the money.

If anyone makes such a claim, please report it to us.

Buyer and seller are responsible for choosing an appropriate payment method and carrying out their own checks before transferring money or releasing a vehicle.

15. Deposits

Any deposit requested or accepted as part of a vehicle sale is an arrangement directly between the buyer and seller.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise for a separate service, deposits are not collected, held, protected or refunded by 80s90s.club.

The parties should clearly agree between themselves on the purpose of a deposit and whether or under what circumstances it is refundable.

16. Transport, Importing and Registration

80s90s.club may be used by people located in different countries.

The buyer and seller are responsible for determining which laws, taxes and requirements apply to their transaction.

This may include:

  • vehicle transport;
  • customs;
  • import duties;
  • VAT or other taxes;
  • export documentation;
  • registration;
  • inspections;
  • emissions requirements;
  • insurance;
  • and local road-use requirements.

80s90s.club does not guarantee that a vehicle advertised in one country can legally be imported, registered or driven in another country.

MARKETPLACE RULES

17. Respectful and Lawful Use

Users must use 80s90s.club lawfully and in good faith.

You may not use the service to:

  • commit or attempt fraud;
  • impersonate another person;
  • obtain information through deception;
  • send spam;
  • harass or threaten another user;
  • distribute malware;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the site;
  • scrape or systematically extract marketplace data without permission;
  • manipulate listings, views or search results;
  • create fake enquiries;
  • or use the marketplace for unlawful activity.

18. Fraud and Suspicious Activity

Protecting the specialist community is important to us.

We may investigate suspicious activity and may request additional information from a user where reasonably necessary to protect the marketplace.

We may remove listings, restrict accounts or prevent access where we reasonably believe there may be:

  • fraud;
  • impersonation;
  • stolen vehicles;
  • fake listings;
  • misleading information;
  • account compromise;
  • abusive behaviour;
  • or another serious breach of these Terms.

We are not required to complete an investigation before taking temporary protective action.

19. Listing Review and Removal

80s90s.club may review listings before or after publication.

We reserve the right to reject, edit, pause, restrict or remove a listing where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • it falls outside the 80s90s.club era;
  • it breaches these Terms;
  • important information appears misleading;
  • the vehicle appears to be duplicated;
  • the listing presents a fraud or security risk;
  • the content infringes another person's rights;
  • the vehicle has already sold;
  • or removal is required by law.

Being allowed to publish a listing does not mean that 80s90s.club has certified or independently verified everything in that listing.

20. Sold Vehicles

Sellers should mark or remove a listing when a vehicle is no longer available.

We may mark a vehicle as sold, expired or unavailable based on information available to us.

We may retain limited listing information where permitted for purposes such as marketplace history, fraud prevention, analytics or legal compliance.

CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

21. Your Listing Content

You retain ownership of content you own and upload to 80s90s.club.

By uploading photographs, descriptions or other material, you give 80s90s.club a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, format, display and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to:

  • operate the marketplace;
  • display your listing;
  • promote the listed vehicle;
  • promote 80s90s.club;
  • operate our social-media channels;
  • improve our services;
  • and maintain marketplace records.

This permission lasts for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.

You confirm that you have the rights required to grant us this permission.

22. Our Brand and Platform

The 80s90s.club name, branding, site design, software, databases and original platform content belong to us or our licensors.

Using the marketplace does not give users ownership of those rights.

You may not copy, reproduce or commercially exploit substantial parts of the platform except where permitted by law or with our permission.

PLATFORM OPERATION

23. Marketplace Availability

We aim to keep 80s90s.club available and working reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

Features may occasionally be changed, updated, suspended or unavailable due to maintenance, security, technical issues or changes to the service.

We may introduce, modify or discontinue marketplace features where reasonably necessary.

24. Fees and Paid Features

Access to some features may be free while other optional features may become paid services.

If we introduce a charge for a feature, the relevant price and conditions will be shown before the user purchases or activates that paid service.

Introducing optional paid services does not make 80s90s.club a party to vehicle transactions.

Any special promotional commitment, including a founding-member or founding-listing offer, is subject to the specific conditions shown with that promotion.

25. Third-Party Services

80s90s.club may contain links to or integrations with third-party services such as inspection companies, transport providers, finance providers, vehicle-history services or other businesses.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, those businesses operate independently from 80s90s.club.

Their own terms and privacy policies may apply.

A link or integration does not by itself mean that 80s90s.club guarantees their services.

RESPONSIBILITY

26. User Responsibility

Each user is responsible for their own decisions and actions when buying or selling a vehicle.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, 80s90s.club is not responsible for losses arising solely from dealings between users, including disputes concerning:

  • vehicle condition;
  • price;
  • payment;
  • deposits;
  • ownership;
  • documentation;
  • mileage;
  • originality;
  • undisclosed defects;
  • transport;
  • delivery;
  • registration;
  • taxes;
  • or a buyer's or seller's failure to complete a transaction.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

27. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory rights that a user has under applicable consumer law.

If a professional dealer sells a vehicle to a consumer, additional legal obligations may apply directly between that dealer and the buyer.

Dealers and other commercial sellers are responsible for complying with the laws and disclosure requirements that apply to their businesses.

28. Reporting Problems

We want 80s90s.club to be a trusted marketplace for the enthusiast community.

If you believe that a listing is fraudulent, misleading, unlawful, stolen or otherwise breaches these Terms, please report it using the reporting function on the site or contact us at:

Please provide the listing URL and as much relevant information as reasonably possible.

29. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to 80s90s.club where reasonably necessary if a user:

  • materially breaches these Terms;
  • repeatedly violates marketplace rules;
  • creates a significant fraud or security risk;
  • misuses the platform;
  • or uses the service unlawfully.

Where appropriate, we may also remove associated listings.

30. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as 80s90s.club develops, including when we introduce new marketplace features or where legal or regulatory requirements change.

The current version will always be published at:

80s90s.club/pages/terms

The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will show when the Terms were most recently revised.

Where a change materially affects registered users, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or required by law.

31. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of, subject to any mandatory consumer protections or other rights that apply under the laws of a user's country.

Any disputes concerning these Terms will be handled by the courts or other dispute-resolution process applicable under those laws.
