Report a Listing
See something that does not look right?
Tell us.
80s90s.club is built for genuine cars, genuine sellers and people who care about the 1980s and 1990s.
If you believe a listing may be fraudulent, misleading, copied or connected to a vehicle that is not what the seller claims it is, please report it.
Report a Listing
Email us at:
info@80s90s.club
Please use the subject line:
Listing Report — [make/model or listing ID]
If possible, include the 80s90s.club listing URL in your message.
What Should Be Reported?
You do not need to prove fraud before contacting us.
If something looks seriously wrong, send it to us and explain why.
Examples include:
A cloned or suspicious chassis number
Report the listing if you believe:
the VIN or chassis number belongs to another vehicle;
the same chassis number appears on multiple cars;
the chassis number does not match the vehicle being advertised;
the VIN plate appears altered;
vehicle documents appear inconsistent with the car;
or you have evidence that the identity of the vehicle has been cloned.
Photographs taken from somewhere else
Report a listing if:
the photographs belong to another seller;
the photographs were copied from another marketplace;
photographs were taken from an old auction or advertisement;
the car shown is not the car being offered;
different photographs appear to show different vehicles;
or a seller is using your photographs without permission.
If you know where the original image came from, please include a link.
A misleading or bait price
Report a listing if the advertised price appears deliberately designed to mislead buyers.
For example:
a car advertised for €5,000 when the seller actually demands €50,000;
a false price used only to make the listing appear first in searches;
a price that represents only a deposit but is presented as the vehicle price;
or a seller who refuses to honour the advertised price and immediately demands a substantially different amount.
A genuinely cheap car is not automatically suspicious. We are interested in prices that appear intentionally misleading.
False vehicle information
You can report claims such as:
incorrect model or specification;
deliberately false mileage;
fabricated service history;
false claims about originality;
fake limited-edition status;
false ownership history;
incorrect accident or damage information;
fake restoration claims;
or misleading statements about the vehicle's identity or condition.
An ordinary mistake is different from deliberate deception, but please report serious inaccuracies either way.
A vehicle that may not belong to the seller
Please contact us if you have reasonable grounds to believe:
the vehicle is stolen;
the seller does not own it;
the seller does not have permission to advertise it;
the seller is impersonating the real owner;
or the listing was copied from a genuine advertisement belonging to somebody else.
A fake seller
Report accounts that appear to involve:
impersonation;
fake identities;
copied dealership information;
a seller pretending to represent a business they do not work for;
multiple fraudulent accounts;
or somebody pretending to be 80s90s.club.
Suspicious payment requests
80s90s.club does not hold the money used to buy a vehicle.
Report a seller or buyer immediately if somebody claims that:
80s90s.club is holding your money;
80s90s.club requires a vehicle deposit;
payment must be sent to an “80s90s.club escrow account”;
we will release funds when a vehicle is delivered;
or 80s90s.club guarantees a private vehicle payment.
We do not provide such a service.
The purchase of a vehicle and the payment for it happen directly between buyer and seller.
Spam or unrelated listings
You may also report:
duplicate listings;
non-vehicle spam;
advertisements unrelated to the vehicle;
malicious links;
phishing;
or listings that do not belong on an 1980s and 1990s vehicle marketplace.
What to Send Us
The more specific your report is, the easier it is for us to understand the problem.
Please send:
- The listing URL
Copy the full address of the listing you are reporting.
- What you believe is wrong
Explain the issue in a few sentences.
For example:
“The photographs appear to have been copied from another advertisement.”
or:
“This VIN belongs to a different vehicle.”
- Supporting evidence
Where available, include:
links to the original advertisement;
screenshots;
photographs;
VIN or chassis information;
links to another listing using the same vehicle;
public vehicle records;
correspondence with the seller;
or other information that helps explain the problem.
Please do not send us information obtained unlawfully.
- Your contact email
We may need to contact you for additional information.
If Your Photographs Were Stolen
If somebody is using photographs you own without permission, please include:
the 80s90s.club listing URL;
the photographs concerned;
the location where your original photographs appear;
and information showing that you created or own the images.
We may ask for additional information before removing disputed material.
If Someone Has Copied Your Genuine Vehicle Listing
If you are the genuine owner or seller and another account has copied your vehicle advertisement, tell us clearly in your report.
Please include:
your original listing or advertisement;
the fraudulent 80s90s.club listing;
information showing your connection to the vehicle;
and any other useful evidence.
Do not send unnecessary sensitive documents unless we specifically ask for them.
What Happens After You Report It?
We review reports based on the information available to us.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
review the listing;
compare related advertisements;
contact the seller;
request additional information;
temporarily restrict a listing;
remove a listing;
restrict or suspend an account;
preserve relevant information where appropriate;
or take no action if the available evidence does not establish a sufficient reason to interfere with the listing.
In urgent situations, we may temporarily remove or restrict content while we investigate.
Reporting Does Not Automatically Mean Removal
A report does not automatically prove that a listing is fraudulent.
Disagreements can happen over:
vehicle history;
originality;
restoration work;
valuations;
specifications;
model terminology;
or the interpretation of historical records.
We may consider information from both sides before making a decision.
80s90s.club is not a court, vehicle-title authority or law-enforcement agency and cannot determine legal ownership where there is a genuine legal dispute.
Do Not Confront a Suspected Scammer
If you believe a listing involves fraud, you are not required to investigate the person yourself.
Do not put yourself at risk.
Send the information to us and, where appropriate, contact your bank, payment provider or relevant authorities.
Already Sent Money?
If you believe you have sent money to a fraudulent seller, contact your bank or payment provider immediately.
They may be able to advise you about stopping, recalling or reporting a transaction.
You should also consider reporting suspected fraud to the appropriate law-enforcement or fraud-reporting authority in your country.
80s90s.club does not hold buyer funds and therefore cannot reverse or refund payments made directly between users.
Stolen Vehicles
If you believe a vehicle is stolen or connected to a crime, contact the appropriate law-enforcement authority.
You can also send the listing to us at:
[REPORT EMAIL]
Where appropriate and legally permitted, we may preserve relevant account or listing information and respond to valid requests from competent authorities.
Please Do Not Publish Personal Information
Do not attempt to expose a suspected seller by publishing their:
home address;
private documents;
financial information;
passwords;
private phone numbers;
or other sensitive personal information.
Send relevant information privately to us instead.
False or Abusive Reports
Please use the reporting system responsibly.
Do not knowingly submit false reports to:
harm another seller;
interfere with a legitimate sale;
remove a competitor;
harass another member;
or manipulate the marketplace.
Repeated deliberate misuse of the reporting system may result in account restrictions.

Help Us Keep the Era Genuine
A marketplace like 80s90s.club works when buyers and sellers can trust what they are looking at.
If a W124 is really a W124, its history should say so.
If a 964 has a particular chassis number, that number should belong to that car.
If photographs show a particular E30, that should be the E30 being sold.
And if somebody advertises a car for a price, that price should mean what it says.
See something wrong? Send it to us.
